Cadet Sgt Ronnie Bugia

Cadet Sgt Bugia is a graduate of Kelvin High School and will attend the University of British Columbia Sauder School of Business in the Bachelor and Master of Management Dual Degree programme. He hopes to one day manage his own business.

He is a Level Four Sergeant, second in command of Sabre Flight and an instructor at his unit. He has won first and second place at the 177 RCACS Effective Speaking Competition and also represented his Squadron at the 2014 and 2015 Air Cadets Effective Speaking Competition.

He has volunteered with The Dream Factory helping kids with life-threatening illnesses to fulfill their dreams, like going to Disney World. He helped organize charity fundraising events at his school and was a peer tutor. He volunteered with his school's newspaper and has volunteered at Camp Clipper and Winnipeg Harvest.

As a unit instructor he has used in-class group learning activities to challenge Cadets to interact, think and learn together in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere.

Ronnie played on his school’s volleyball, basketball and soccer teams as well as playing intramural badminton and table tennis.
