Cadet WO2 Ian Ellchuk

Cadet WO2 Ellchuk is a graduate of Linden Christian School and Kelvin High School and will attend the University of Manitoba where he hopes to obtain a degree in Computer Science and his long-term goal is to become an air transport or airline pilot.

He is his Squadron’s Cadet Warrant Officer and has attended General Training, Basic Military Band, Music concentration courses and has attained his glider and power licenses through the Cadet programme. He has received the Lord Strathcona Award and was noted as a top musician in 2013.

He is heavily involved with his Cadet Squadron and spends many hours volunteering to ensure that his Cadets are well trained and looked after. As well he has spent many hours volunteering with Winnipeg Harvest.

Ian has achieved the Cadet Fitness Level – Silver.
