Cadet WO2 Noann (Bryan) Kwak will be attending the University of Manitoba and his goal is to become a dentist.
He has completed his Basic Survival Camp, was a Staff Sergeant and was Staff Flight Sergeant for the Basic Fitness and Sports Course, all in Cold Lake. He has been awarded the Lord Strathcona Trust Medal and the Air Cadet Long Service Medal. He was an instructor in his Squadron teaching drill, uniform and fitness classes. His aim was to set a personal high standard to be emulated by the Junior Cadets in his unit.
In his community he has been involved with; the Sioux Valley Church mission for Children’s Sunday School; the Rotary Club Book Club; Brandon Remembrance Day Ceremonies; Brandon Korean Church Worship team; the Major Production Crocus Plains play Hairspray; the Major Production Crocus Plains play Rock of Ages and Child Ministry at Cities Church.
He maintained his fitness with TaeKwon Do (Third Degree Black Belt), track, football, and rugby. He was selected as Athlete of the Year at the Betty Gibson School in 2014 and placed first in the 100m and 200m events at the Brandon high School Track and Field races. He attended the Manitoba Top Prospect Football combine in 2017 and was awarded the MVP Award. He has also earned the Cadet Fitness Badge Level of Excellence.
