She has volunteered to work with other Cadet units, especially in areas dealing with leadership training and to help others further expand their leadership skills. Working with Cadets in Thompson, she helped improve their leadership cadre which in turn helped to improve their units. Being a mentor to other Cadets is the leadership style in which she personally thrives as a leader. She has made it her goal to keep sharing her knowledge to benefit the leadership development of other Cadets.

She has earned the Cadet Fitness Excellence Level twice and has completed the expedition instructor course in Whitehorse. This course challenged her physically and, since then, she has ensured that she has prioritized her well-being, including an exercise routine, which makes her stronger and more confident as a person.
