Cadet WO2 Ethan Salemi

Cadet WO2 Ethan Salemi will pursue an Aerospace Engineering Degree at the Royal Military College of Canada with the aim of being a Pilot or an Air Combat Systems Officer. For him post-secondary education is an opportunity to develop skills, gain knowledge, and ultimately make a meaningful impact in both military and civilian aviation.
He has completed or participated in Power Pilot Training Course, Glider Pilot Training Course, Advanced Aviation, Virtual Basic Aviation, PPTC Top Manitoba Cadet, Cadet Fitness Assessment, Restricted Operator Certificate with Aeronautical Qualification, Biathlon: Silver, Marksmanship: Bronze, and was nominated for the Legion Medal of Excellence. He has received the Lord Strathcona Medal, OCdt John W Kerr Award, and Commanding Officer's Commendation for Outstanding Service. He was Top Level Cadet: Level 1,2, 3, 4, and is Level five (qualified).
He has volunteered at Fehr Forgeworks, in Poppy Drives, Remembrance Day ceremonies, at Cadet gliding operations, and with Wreaths Across Canada. He takes pride in contributing to his community through volunteering, leadership, and fundraising initiatives. He is also involved in Student Council and the Grad Committee.
As a leader, he strives to be a role model, demonstrating discipline, professionalism, and a strong work ethic for younger Cadets.
He has maintained a consistent fitness routine, going to the gym five times a week and keeping up with cardiovascular training to ensure a well-rounded level of fitness. He has competed in wrestling and track and field.
